About this policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations, changes to agreed services and refunds are handled when you arrange services with DEWAN HOLDINGS.

Our services are provided according to the scope, arrangements and requirements agreed with the client. Because advisory work may involve preparation, research, meetings or other work scheduled specifically for a client, cancellation arrangements can depend on how far the service has progressed.

We aim to deal with cancellation requests reasonably and to keep the process straightforward.

02

Cancelling a service

If you need to cancel an agreed service, please contact us as soon as possible using the contact details provided on our website.

Where work has not yet started, a cancellation will normally be accepted and any eligible payment will be returned in accordance with the refund arrangements below.

01

Before work begins

If the service has not started and no client-specific work has been completed, the payment may be refunded in full.

02

After preparation begins

If preparation, research, planning or other client-specific work has already started, the amount refunded may reflect work already completed.

03

After delivery begins

Where a service has already been substantially delivered, a refund may not be available for the portion of work already completed.

04

Changes to arrangements

Where practical, we may agree a revised appointment, scope or delivery arrangement instead of cancellation.

03

Refund eligibility

Refunds are considered according to the stage of the service, the work already completed and the specific arrangements agreed with the client.

Full refund BEFORE WORK

Where a service has been cancelled before work begins and no client-specific work has been completed, eligible payments will normally be refunded in full.

Partial refund WORK IN PROGRESS

Where work has started, any refund will take account of the work already carried out, preparation undertaken and costs reasonably incurred for the agreed service.

No refund for completed work SERVICE DELIVERED

Once the agreed service has been completed, payment for the completed portion will generally not be refundable.

04

Rescheduling

If you cannot proceed with an agreed appointment or service at the planned time, please contact us as early as possible.

Where the nature of the service allows it, we may offer an alternative date or revised arrangement. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may depend on the stage of work already undertaken.

A practical approach

Early notice gives us the best opportunity to rearrange work without unnecessary disruption.

05

To request a cancellation or refund, please contact DEWAN HOLDINGS with the name used when the service was arranged and details of the relevant service.

We may ask for additional information to confirm the relevant booking or payment before processing the request.

04

Approved refunds are returned using the original payment method where practical.

06

Refund timing

Once a refund has been approved, we normally process it within 5 working days.

After the refund has been processed, the time for the funds to appear in the original payment account can depend on the payment provider or financial institution.

OUR PROCESSING 5 working days

The normal period for processing an approved refund.

BANK / PAYMENT PROVIDER 5–10 working days

The additional time may vary depending on the card issuer, bank or payment provider.

If a refund has been confirmed as processed but has not appeared after 10 working days, please contact us so that we can provide the relevant refund details and assist with checking the payment.

07

Services affected by circumstances

Occasionally, circumstances outside the reasonable control of either party may affect an agreed service or appointment.

If this happens, we will discuss the available options with the client. Depending on the situation, this may include rescheduling the service, adjusting the agreed arrangements or considering an appropriate refund for services that cannot be provided.

Any refund will take into account services already completed and any arrangements that have already been fulfilled.

08

Questions and support

If you are unsure about a cancellation, would like to change an agreed arrangement or have a question about a refund, please contact us before making a decision.

We will review the circumstances and explain the available options clearly.

CANCELLATION & REFUND

Clear arrangements. Reasonable outcomes.

Our approach is to keep cancellation and refund arrangements straightforward, with decisions based on the work completed and the circumstances of each service.
